       Donna Raye's Dolls is the second in my series of ensembles for 7.5 inch and 5 inch Berenguer baby dolls. Originally made in baby yarn for a 7.5 inch soft-bodied "Lots to Cuddle" Baby (or the 7.5" vinyl "Mini La Newborn," pictured in the christening gown), these outfits are also a perfect fit for the 5 inch "Lots to Love" baby when made with size 10 crochet cotton.

       This pattern set includes: Myrande's Christening (also sold separately here), Reilly's Rainbow Romper, Priscilla's Pretty in Pink, Suzie's Sunny Day Dress, Brennie's Blue Skies Pantsuit, and Nikki's Nightie-Night Set. Also included are patterns for matching booties, a simple pair of panties, two sizes blankies and a pillow!

       In case you're wondering -- Donna Raye is my mom. She made clothes for all of my sister's and my dolls when we were kids, as well as dressing dolls for charity Christmas baskets. In 2009, when she was in the hospital for hip surgery, I surprised her with a Lots to Cuddle Babies® doll and the prototype outfits, one piece every day or two. Not only did it brighten up her room, but the nurses enjoyed coming in to see what new wardrobe accessory had been added! (That's Donna Raye on the right, with her Aunt Ophelia's doll -- handed down to her from HER Aunt Ophelia!)
